One of the highest reviewed places in Riverside? Count me in. The place lived up to the hype. The food left me satisfied and the experience was memorable. This is what I ordered:

The steak (30 day aged ribeye)
    Cajun seared shrimp
    Roasted bone marrow

    Another day in paradise
    Kickboxing sensation

The bone marrow was delicious! I wonder if they kept the original marrow or if they added some more bulk to make it better but I enjoyed the rich flavor of the fatty marrow.
The steak threw me off because it was a lot smaller than I thought. I split the steak between 2 people and w were still wanting more food after the marrow, shrimp, and steak. It's probably good for one person to get full and two if you aren't hungry. It was tasty though I think I'll go with a burger or another dish next time. It seems it's not a popular choice here.

The drinks were exceptional. Everything I had was a cool blend of ingredients that were refreshing and fun!

    Definitely will come back here.

BACON FAT POPCORN!!!!!!!!  Nuff said,  but there's a minimum character requirement on here...

Seriously, one of the best meals I've had in a long time.  Zero complaints with the 1 issue we had about a drink being quickly handled by our bartender,  Manny!

We will be back the next time we're in Riverside, count on it!

I wasn't impressed. The menu looks good, but the execution and service fell short.

I split a burger with a friend and we ordered it medium. It came out with blood soaking through the bottom bun and onto the plate. There were visible raw pieces of meat. When we asked to have them take it back and cook it a bit more, she answered by saying "we prepare things more traditionally. This is a traditional medium preparation." OK ... anyway ... they took it back and then burnt the meat to a hard brown crisp.

Again, lots of potential, but lacking in execution and service. Heading back to Riverside in a month or so and won't be headed back to the Salted Pig.

Also worth noting ... which is not the restaurant's fault ... but we walked from the Mission Inn via the pedestrian thoroughfare ... and I wouldn't do that again. It was pretty creepy.

I've heard a lot of great things about this place. I was a bit shocked that the structure was smaller than I had expected. Anyway......the food was good, the alcohol drinks were "ok" and the service was good.

I ate here many years ago but could not remember exactly what I ordered. Came here for dinner on a weekday with no reservations, happen to get the last open table so no wait there. When you first walk in it's a small place and with a simple decor. We ordered a lot of different dishes and every one tasted great! We were puzzled by the "20oz rib-eye" as it did not look like a 20 oz-er.

Cajun seared shrimp - flavorful with slices of bread and an orange sauce
Roasted bone marrow - this was fantastic! It tasted like chili verde and the bread was really good!
The steak (20oz ribeye) - meat tasted good but like I mentioned prior it appeared much smaller than 20oz for some reason.
Tomato dish - paired well with the steak

    Drinks
Another day in paradise - my favorite!!!
Kicking boxing sensation - Smokey and also tasty
We also tried their fruitie house infused drink. That was sweet was also tasty!

For desert we had peanut butter chocolate, yes it was unique and delicious!

Overall, this place has really good food and drinks!!
    4.7 stars!
